God Squad Canada is a charitable society that was started by four police officers in the Diocese of Calgary, who through their work on the streets saw the effects of the lack of loving fathers in the family. They began with an annual men’s conference to invite men to follow in the footsteps of St. Joseph. Soon men from every walk of life were joining in the mission.
God Squad Canada is the engine behind Heroic Men Canada and the ministry to men that Heroic Men Canada is. Heroic Men Canada wants to strengthen the man; strengthen the family; strengthen the Church.
The Squad in God Squad Canada, is a small organized tactical unit in the service of God that is sent in the spiritual battlefield to minister to men, inspiring them to embrace God’s vocation in their lives. These men are Heroic Men. It was out of this heroism that the ministry to men was forged: Heroic Men Canada.
Challenged by the crisis of loneliness plaguing men, Heroic Men Canada, powered by God Squad Canada, wants to encourage men across Canada in building brotherhood.
Imagine if every priest was supported by one or two heroic men. If every Bishop had the support of 30 such men. We could build a brotherhood that could change the face of our families, churches, and culture where no man was alone.
